Prepare and Use: Hob – From Chilled/Ambient
1. For Maximum Flavour (1 part EBLY to 2 parts water) Measure the required amount of EBLY into saucepan & use the same measure to add twice the amount of water. Bring the water to the boil & simmer on a low heat until the water is absorbed (around 10 mins)
Tip: add chopped tomatoes, courgettes and mushrooms at the start of cooking to allow these flavours to be absorbed into the EBLY while cooking.
2. Quick and Easy Bring a large pan of water to the boil, stir in the EBLY and add salt if required. Cover and simmer. Cook EBLY according to your own taste: 10 minutes for ‘al dente’ grain, 12 minutes for softer grain. Drain and serve. Tip: add a stock cube to the boiling water at the start of cooking for additional flavour.
